We would like to thank all Judges whom have judged Baako. I would also like to thank Kate and Gavin for their undivided support from the start and thank you to all my fellow exhibitors for your help and advice. I am very new to showing, only starting last year with Baako, but i am thoroughly enjoying it, much more than i prevously expected. I have made many friends through the showing world, and enjoy the social side of it as much as the actual showing side! Its lovely to spend time with like minded doggy people, and I especially enjoy the many ridgeback walks ive attended, its lovely seeing the dogs let off steam after a show by running around mad and getting muddy!

I was delighted to be placed 1st under International Breed Specialist Veronica Thoren, Elvis and Lisa got 1st in Post grad, Kate and Sani got 1st in Limit, and Sharon and Sam got 1st in Open, so it was a total family affair. In the line up for Best Dog, Sam was picked out as best dog, a much deserved winner. Mrs Thoren called for the 2nd in open, she had another good look at the line up, and started walking in our direction, i held my breath, and yes, she held out the beautiful blue rosette, and announced her Reserve Best Dog as BAAKO! I was delighted, and gave Baako a huuuuge hug. It was lovely doing a "lap of honour" with Sharon and Sam. 1)Lennie & Temporal’s Jengachenga Akili, lovely shape and overall balance. Typical masculine head. Nicely shaped in front and good depth of chest for age. Nice clean neck into strong topline with good tailset. Nice width of thigh. Excellent ground covering sidegait. Needs to stabilize in front. Very promising youngster.(RBD)
